INTENTION:
Similar to Buteyko breathing, it puts focus on nasal breathing, slow inhales, and even slower exhales to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, or 'rest and digest'. Doing so naturally increases nitric oxide production in your body, which relaxes your veins, and lowers your blood pressure and heart rate. Do this practice whenever you feel over-stimulated, stressed, or on edge. It will immediately ground and calm you. It will also create a meaningful human connection through soul gazing (eye contact) when sharing a live session within the IN YOUR 20 app. If 6sec in and 18sec out is too uncomfortable, focus on breathing through your nose and extending your exhale 2 to 3 times longer than your inhale.

10 slow, controlled breaths
6 sec inhale (Through your nose)
18 sec exhale using pursed lips
